Data and Reporting Analyst (S16.09-NL)

Our customer has developed a “state of the art” software to manage global IT installation and maintenance services throughout +150 countries. This ingenious software allows global customers, partners and the whole organization a fully integrated and automated approach for follow up of service requests, stock overview and reporting. The most appealing feature is the real time visualization of the worldwide statuses of service requests.

Due to the growing market and continuous challenges, our customer is looking to reinforce its dynamic service support an consulting team with a young or medior Datawarehouse and Reporting Analyst that will be coached to grow as a process and reporting specialist in global field service operations, driven by a global call management system environment.


He / she will be part of a team, building and maintaining an IT solution for managing global field service operations, with following tasks:

• Design, build, implement and maintain global IT service management solutions (including monitoring portals and reporting) in a global IT system environment;
• Setup and implement these solutions in a global call management system;
• Setup of project specific workflows, organization structures and global monitoring and reporting to allow the global delivery organization to manage the global projects;
• Internal reporting is key for daily analysis of global delivery performance and optimization;
• External customer reporting is, besides a contractual requirement, a major differentiator in customer relationship and transparency;

His / her function within the team:

• Act as project consultant to design the reporting side of the IT service solution that fits to the requested needs;
• Maintain and further develop the existing Datawarehouse environment;
• Developing / maintaining new reports for customer and internal management purposes (operational & financial);
• Developing / maintaining new / existing SQL scripts on multiple databases for ad hoc reports or on requests for special ad hoc analysis;
• Creating, running and distributing daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly reports (using the existing reporting environment);
• Analyzing all data and trends and reporting unexpected deviations, allowing implementation of corrective actions / improvements of the operational processes and organizational structures if deemed necessary;
• Work with the customer team to support cross departmental requirements;
• Support the team where and when necessary by developing new reports;
• Proposing and implementing automated deviation warnings / mechanisms to ensure / allow continuous monitoring;
• Train customers, service partners and global delivery in the use of the project specific reports;
• Together with the team: setup and maintain CMDB structures for new and existing projects.


• Bachelors degree or equivalent by experience;
• Preferably we would like to hire someone with a relevant experience in the requested domain of 2 to 5 years;
• Good knowledge of SQL and SQL scripting is requested;
• Knowledge and relevant experience of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Mining or handling of big data with an experience in the environments of SAP BO, Crystal Reports are preferred as this will be the environment to be used;
• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel and very good knowledge in other MS Office suite tools (Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) is a plus;
• Excellent level in Dutch and a very good level in English;
• Analytical mindset: able to cut through complexity, quickly and accurately, using a structured approach;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues;
• Understand how to create customer value;
• Team player;
• Combining data setup and maintenance activities with continuously looking to improve service;
